Anyone had to walk through mud on crutches and a flip flop?

Or ditch the flip flop and go barefoot?

Sorry that I can't answer, I can't wear a flip-flop with my crutches. It is too easy for me to trip on the front part of the sole. My advice; slide out of the flip-flop and go barefoot and safely. Good luck.
