The Best Sandals for Outdoor Activities

Sandals are ideal footwear for outdoor activities because they offer protection for your feet, allow your feet to breathe, and are generally comfortable. Outdoor sport activities offer an array of activities, such as golf, walking, and rafting with different requirements for your feet. It is a good idea to choose a style of sandal that is suitable for the type of outdoor activities you perform on a regular basis.

Walking

Walking was probably man's first indoor and outdoor activity. Flip flop sandals are a good choice when you don't require a significant amount of support. High heel sandals are typically not recommended for long walks because your feet are in an unnatural position, which over time can cause stress and injury. According to Dr. Scholls, well-known makers of foot care products, if you must wear high heels it is best to opt for those that offer ample space for your toes and that are considered “walking” or “performance”. Water Sports

If you participate in a variety of activities, a multi-sport sandal that offers qualities of various sandals is recommended.

I'm not really a foot guy, but I think if you have gross feet, you shouldn't show them off. I think sandals should be reserved for women with more cutish feet. Do you agree?

Great for those who suffers from sore, aching heels. It works the same as 'Gel Cushion' but it is placed on the insole of the heels of the shoes.

3. Heel Grips

Prevents your shoes from sliding off the back of your heels. It provides additional grip to the heels of the shoes and prevent blisters caused by rubbing.
Also comes in suede leather. However, it is slightly thinner but I find that it sticks better than gel types. Especially if your feet tends to become sweaty through out the day or night.

4. Toe Post Strips

Prevents blisters and cushions between the toes when wearing sandals or thongs with toe post.

5. Sore Spots

Sore spots are aimed to be placed on certain parts of the shoes where it may be rubbing, causing irritation or blasters on your skin.

6. Slingback Strips

Thin strips of gel cushions ideal for footwear with slingback straps that may be rubbing, causing irritation or blisters on the skin at the back of your heels. It is placed on the back of the straps for added cushioning.

Okay, my ankle comes inward a little, and it's preventing me from walking in my stilettos, I sprain my ankle I want to say about 3/4 years ago. But, I can't walk in my shoes and I need to do it. I can walk in platform slingback pumps. but my stilettos? No. My foot is crooked in the shoe, I stomp with the left foot and it's just not elegant.
