Bite Footwear to Get Crocs’ Croslite Technology

As you may be aware, Crocs has purchased Bite Footwear July 30, 2007. With Bite’s move to their new location at Croc’s headquarters in Niwot, Colorado almost complete, additional signs of the two companies collaborative efforts can be seen with some of the new products Bite is introducing.

Bite™ Footwear Introduces Crocs Croslite™ Footbed in Product Line Up at Outdoor Retailer Summer Market

Bite, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Crocs, Inc. (NASDAQ: CROX), announced the use of Crocs’ proprietary closed cell resin material, Croslite™, in the footbeds of select Bite™ Footwear products. These new products will be available to consumers in Spring 2008.

The Adventure 3-in-1 Series sandals (MSRP $79.99-$99.99) will be the first Bite™ Footwear products to feature Crocs’ unique Croslite™ material, which is known for its lightweight, anti-microbial, waterproof, and odor resistant properties. Available in two styles each for men and women, and perfect for the adventure traveler, this series transforms from a one piece sandal into three possible footwear options. One of the men’s styles, the Chinook, features Bite’s patent pending Adjustable Strapping System to individualize the fit to the foot. It can also be easily changed from an athletic light-hiker into an easy-on, easy-off slide, and further adjusts into a beach flip flop.

I'm soon to be going on placements at hospital working long hours, what type of shoes should I wear?

We are told to wear comfy shoes, but are not allowed crocs. I have quite wide feet so sometimes I wear mens shoes instead of womens, which I am more than happy to do now, but am clueless as to what I should be looking for as I find many shoes uncomfortable. Thanks!

Thanks to the idiot who thought all women only care about shoes. I haven't bought a pair of shoes in 4 years, I have one pair which admittedly are now getting to the end of their life. But I have problems with sore feet quite quickly due to my feet turning on to their sides and wanted a pair of reliable comfortable shoes that I can be standing on for 12+ hours and have minimal pain
I couldn't care less about fashion and wasn't asking about clothes. I already have my uniform. But we were all told MEN AND WOMEN to look for a good pair of comfortable shoes.

Check out 'shoes for crews.' they sell shoes to resturants and are made to be walked in all day. Also they are slip proof. I've worn my pair for near a year and they're definitely comfortable.

But really, as long as the shoes have good arch support you should be fine. Trainers/sneakers would be best.
