What kind of snake in Mississippi is black or brown with gold spots?

This was about 30 inches long.It went into my garage. Should I be scared?

you shouldnt be afraid of any snake, they are benifical and have a bad wrap. They get rid of pests and rodents that you should be more afraid of than the snake. Now if your afraid if its Venemous, then you need to be careful around it. We need pictures or a better description in order to properly identify it. If its actually spotted I doubt its any kind of Venomous snake. Though it could be a dark phase rat snake or garter. It doesnt sound very big. I guess when ever you dont know what kind it is, I wouldnt approach it and I would call the area animal control and ask them who would remove it from your garage. They can better identify it for you. I think Mississippi has some venmous species like rattlers and Cottonmouths. I think though they have more distinct patterns and are not generally real dark.

buy a colour run remover then put them in washing machine, ive done this several times to get rid of grass, mud etc and come out lovely. Put on low wash (my friends machine has a shoe cycle) and put them in a pillow slip so laces dont get caught up round drum and to prevent too much banging. Trust me they will be safe in machine on a 30-40 degree wash
P.S. ive even put my 120 pounds destroy boots in machine

Drycleaning my 20 Tommy Bahama Shirts are killing me. They aren't dirty, however picks up my Body Odor after a day of wearing in warm Hawaii climate. Is there any method to keep it fresh between dry cleaning? Is there something I can spray on or buy?
