Trends and Styles for Women's Sheepskin Boots

Fashionable people need trendy accessories. And even if you are not into fashion, there are only some fashion accessories that have to be there whenever you need it. Boots are such accessories. For some people owning a pair of boots is just like owning any other pair of boots. You wear it whenever you need it. Except for others boots have to be cosy and durable. Naturally it helps if it en style too.

What neater way to stay warm and comfortable during long winter nights than to encase cold feet into a pair of beautiful women's sheepskin boots? Sheepskin is made from nature's insulator which keeps off moisture while maintaining warmth and comfort. But firstly, where did these trendy boots come from and why sheepskin boots in the 1st place?

First off, sheepskin boots were trendy even before widely known brands came into the market. Sheepskin boots were originally worn by people in small town occupations in places such as China and the Arctic. These shepherds had ready access to materials and discovered that boots made of sheepskin were really glorious in warding off moisture and dampness. During WWI and WWII sheepskin boots became very hip among fliers and pilots who commanded non-pressurized airplanes at extraordinarily high altitudes. The boots then became well-liked among surfers and swimmers who wore the boots during competitive meets to warm their feet while waiting for their turn.

One of the benefits of wearing sheepskin boots over any other boot made of other material is its thermostatic properties. Boots made of sheepskin are fleecy on the inner side of the boots which allow air to circulate while at the same time keeping your feet at body temperature. Another virtue of sheepskin boots is they can be worn with or without socks or leggings due to the fleece lining the boots. Shoes made of sheepskin is not limited to boots, there are slippers, slip-ons, comfort slides loafers and other similar designs. They can also be worn by both men and women.

Sheepskin dropped into popularity as preferences to leather rose. The reason is because leather or cow hide is better to tan and is sturdier than sheepskin. However due to advances in technology, sheepskin boots have become durable and care for sheepskin boots less complicated. There are stain and water repellent sprays which can be acquired in shoe stores. These products should be sprayed on to the boots before wearing them. This will make it tougher for dust and or grim to paste to the boots making them better to clean after wearing. The water repellent should also help in keeping moisture out and at the same time preserve the boots. All it desires for cleaning is a humid fabric and some water and presto, clean boots.

Because of its popularity, especially among the university crowd and ladies, there are false sheepskin boots or substandard sheepskin boots are circulating in the market. To make certain the boots you bought are the real deal, your sheepskin boots need to be made with one hundred percent pure Merino fleece. Merino is a kind of sheep highly cherished for their wool. Merino sheep have the softest and finest wool available in the market today. Sheepskin boots made of Merino wool can be worn in the summer and winter.

Women's sheepskin boots are the rage in trendy boots today. Plenty of brands have been fighting it out in the market for dominance. But whatever your brand of sheepskin boots might be it is always important to look for quality above fashion and try a search for a brand that gives good value. Sheepskin boots can last a very long time with correct care, so make sure that the one you get is sturdy and snug at the same time.

Why are guys who wear clogs labeled as gay?

I am a straight married male, who wears clogs. I enjoy wearing them because they feel so great and comfortable. They are easy to put on and take off. I also think they look great. The fact is that I am not gay. I guess some gay men wear clogs too. Don't gay men also wear sneakers, boots, loafers, and other styles? So why is it the clog that is associated with being gay. Is it because women are the people who are mostly seen in clogs? Women are the sex mostly seen in sandals too, but male sandal wearers don't get the gay label. The clogs I wear are mostly Danskos. Dansko's mens clogs do not look effeminate at all. They do not look like women's shoes. I also have some wood-soled clogs, that also don't look effeminate. I have seen women's clogs too, and there is a difference in how they are made. It is just as obvious as the difference in mens and womens sandals. You can tell the difference. So when you see a man in clogs, why is he automatically assumed to be gay?

I think if you are a straight man and confidant in your masculinity -- forget about those other poeples opinions!
Those that go around judging and labeling others due to their external appearance are shallow & naive and need to get a life of their own (& pobably scrutinize themselves a bit instead).
I love a man who dares to be comfortable with himself.
And yeah... they are comfy, huh???
